It's here! 2010, the year all Red Bulls fans have been waiting for, is finally here. After a year of bitter dissapointment, there is finally some hope on the horizon. First, the Brand Spanking New Red Bull Arena (built by Makita) is less than 3 months away from opening. Also, the Red Bulls have a chance to upgrade the roster, with some great first round picks in the College Draft, that's just 2 weeks away. On top of that, there are some rumors about players who might be coming here for the coming season.
Speaking of bitter disspointment, check out my 2009 Holiday Season Special (the first part is above). The subject is the 2009 Concacaf Gold Cup Final, where the US National Team got stuffed 5-0 against bitter rival Mexico. The great You Suck Corrales and myself were on hand to support the USA and, despited the stuffing, had a great time. It was also a momentous occasion, as it was the first day of train service between NYC and the Meadowlands Sports Complex. I wish this service had been around for the last 10-12 years, but whatever. Anyway, it's my final, final goodbye to Giants Stadium, The Temple of Football, as it's going to be completely torn down in just a few months time. Please Click Here for part two.
Alrighty then! Here's hoping all of you had a great Holiday Season and here's wishing you a happy and fruitful new year (especially all you long suffering Red Bulls fans, like myself). See you next year!
