Red Bulls fans in anywhere near the Newark area this weekend should make a point of getting out to the Garden State Supporters' annual membership drive, taking place at 7pm at Mmm Bello's Pub, adjacent to Newark Penn Station. Weather permitting, TVN's own viper will be there, snapping a few photos and getting some video if we're lucky. You don't need to be from the Garden State or a resident of the Garden State to become a member - but it couldn't hurt.
GSS was founded by a group of fans who shared a taste for punk and hard core music and the passion for the Red Bulls. Though I have not pulled out my Black Flag records in a few years and am more of an indie dweeb these days, I am signing up and you should too. At the end of the day, if you are a passionate Red Bulls supporters, musical taste or style doesn't matter.

Unlike some soccer shops in the area *cough* the guys in Hoboken have been 100% behind the club and its supporters and they deserve your business.
