In pre-season action down in Florida, the Red Bulls defeated the U17 US Men's National Team by the score of 6-0. Yes, yes - I realize that it was a professional MLS team against 17 and 18 yr olds, but the Red Bulls were beaten 1-0 by the U17 USMNT last (2009) pre-season (a harbinger of things to come). Several players made their debuts, including Roy Miller, Tony Tchani, Joel Lindpere and Maynor Suazo, the former Honduran International who's out of contract and in for a trial.
The big story here is the superb play of Red Bulls Academy product Juan Agudelo (pictured above), a player who's currently weighing his options on where to play his professional football. Agudelo had two goals and an assist in this one. Please, Mr. Soler: Get This Kid Signed Now! Alrighty then...

In other Red Bulls news:
- Caleb Patterson-Sewell, the third-string Red Bulls keeper during the 2008 season is back training with the team and, in fact, played the second half of today's match.
- The Red Bulls announced today that individiual tickets for both the Red Bulls/Santos friendly and their MLS Season Opener against Chicago are now on sale.
- Also announced: Red Bull Arena Club Seats are now priced to sell (this season only).
- There is only one section yet to be filled with seats at Red Bull Arena. Almost there!
- Here's the video, courtesy of The Offside Rules, of the Fox News report from the Red Bull Arena Job Fair held yesterday (it starts about 58 secs into the video and, please, ignore the douche Anchorman).
- I don't know how to even describe what this is, so just click on the link and "enjoy".
