Good morningl! The Red Bulls are back in action, and at the Cathedral of Football. With the Red Bulls having taken 3 out of 6 points on offer, from back to back games on the West Coast, I can't really complain much. True, if it wasn't for Bouna Time's blunder, the Red Bulls probably take an extra point from that road trip, but whatever. That's history! The Red Bulls will look to bounce back in a big way, with their much maligned forwards looking notch some of those elusive goals. With home field advantage, this game will seem very winnable to our team. So let's get to some predictions, shall we:
The great Matt Conroy (aka Who Shot Sam) has this for us:
The Red Bulls come out all guns blazing now that they are back home in the Cathedral of Football and Backe has lit a fire under their collective ass. 3-1 final. Goals by Angel (finally), Salou and Ream (header). Cunningham with a garbage time tally for the visitors.I'm going to go out on a limb and predict a victory as well. The Red Bulls' 12th man, will drivethe team onward. Juan Pablo will notch at least one goal today. I'm going to predict a Final Score of 3-1, in favor of the Red Bulls. The great Homebrew has this prediction for us:
I have to believe that Coach Backe had several choice words for his players after last week's performance. The Red Bulls will come out fired up and focused in America's greatest football venue, Red Bull Arena. 3-1 Red Bulls as they maintain their unbeaten record at home, and get back on track. Lindpere, Angel (Miller), Ibrahim (Tchani, late sub). And last, but certainly not least, the great You Suck Corrales has this prediction for us:
The Red Bulls will rebound from the lack luster performance against Chivas, redoubling their efforts in their unwavering service and allegiance to Uncle Dietrich. Dallas will not break through the impregnable fortress of our defense. Just a question of marshalling our offensive forces. Hopefully we can break through the FC Dallas defense with several lightning thrusts. Prediction: NYRB 3 FC Dallas 0. Angel 2 goals, Lindpere 1.So there you have it! The whole Viper's Nest crew predicts a win. How times have changed, as last year everyone would have bet money on us losing. Well, except You Suck Corrales, who predicted wins everytime last season. It's a good thing there is no betting at the stadium here or he would be broke right now.
