RBNY vs RSL: An Emotional Rollercoaster

This one is already being dubbed the MLS Game of The Year. Yeah, Ok. All I know is that it came so very close to being just another "That's So Metro" loss. And, yes, this was a massive rollercoaster of emotions. Up 2-0 late into the 1st half, 3 unanswered RSL goals, tying it up just before the end of regulation and then the massive dagger into RSL hearts that was that Dax McCarty flying header goal. It doesn't get wilder than that in MLS and my throat won't be back to normal for, at least, a week.

I tell you what, this was anything but dull or forgettable and the wild finish will be remembered for a long time to come. RBNY will take this "Magical" victory, and the three very valuable points that go with it, into the All-Star break.

And speaking of the All-Star break: Tim Cahill won't be going, as the studs-up tackle injury he suffered will keep him out of this coming Thursday's MLS All-Star Game. Philly's Jack Mac will take his place.

After missing the last 2 home games, it was great to be back amongst friends @The Cathedral of Football, Red Bull Arena (built by Makita). I'll be there again on the 17th for the massive fixture vs Philadelphia. I hope to see you all there. The big viper is outtahere!
