A massive, massive victory over a despised rival! But just barely. It took the great You Suck Corrales invoking the power of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit and a massive Luis Robles penalty save to preserve this 2-1 victory over visiting DC United. These huge three points also vaults the NY Red Bulls to 2nd place in the East.
After training flare-up at the practice facility, between TH14 and Mike Petke, the 1st year manager took a big gamble by benching the legendary Frenchman. Henry would come on in the 2nd half (for an injured Tim Cahill) but it would be Robles who would take Man of The Match honors in this one.
A great result against a hated rival but, as I said, just barely. Really, this team should have done much better against the worst team in the League (by results).

Alright! Let's enjoy this on while we can, as Houston away is next. We'll definitely need to pray for a result down there. Ha, ha! Later!
