RBNY vs Dynamo : Fever Pitch!

In a contest that will forever be compared to Michael Jordan's Flu Game, the Red Bulls battered Houston 4-Nil on the strength of a Bradley Wright-Phillips Hat Trick. BWP was due to sit this one out, as he'd been suffering from a bout of Jersey Flu, but started the game and made a little bit of history. It seems this is the first MLS hat-trick an English player has ever recorded. Yes, even Becks didn't get one in his time here.

A fantastic outing by BWP, which will (hopefully) be remembered as the break-out performance of his RBNY career. Thierry Henry put in a classic 1 goal, 2 assist performance. This one give him 45 goals in his Red Bulls career, which ties him with MetroBulls Legend Clintinho Mathis for 2nd in MetroBulls history. It was yet another great game as well for Lloyd Sam, Luis Robles, Eric Alexander and Roy Miller. I could really get used to this (ha, ha!)

Until then, let's hope BWP's scoring sickness is here to stay. The big viper is outtahere!
